Who We Are

Our marching band and color guard is an all-volunteer performance ensemble that rehearses each morning and one to two evenings during the week. The ensemble is comprised of students that play a wind, brass, or percussion instrument, or are in the color guard. The ensemble performs at all football games, pep band games, community parades, and marching competitions throughout Southern California during the fall season. In 2022, the Marching Sailor Regiment represented our school, district, and the cities of Newport Beach and Costa Mesa in the annual Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C.

Please contact Mr. Julian for more information on joining this outstanding ensemble.

AUGUST BAND CAMP will be held Thursday, August 4, Friday, August 5, and Monday, August 8 through Friday August 12 from 9am-5pm each day on the NHHS campus. Meet at the Instrumental Music Room (105) on Irvine Avenue at 8:45am each morning. It is vital that everyone attends every day of camp. If there are any scheduling conflicts, please let Mr. Julian know ASAP: ajulian@nmusd.us.

Students must bring the following items to camp each day:
